Training activities begin at 8:00 a.m., running until completion. Members are encouraged to arrive early to help collect the birds for the day. Most training sessions are held at our training grounds on the Weigand Farm. The day begins with the sale of birds for those members who have ordered in advance.

A typical day has the Natural Ability level dogs working in one of the two fields. Often more experienced members are available to help new members and their pups with their training techniques. Utility and Utility prep dogs then split between the other fields and the water sites.
